Pia Quiroga, founder of Pia Designs, was born in Argentina and moved to the United States to further her education in 2005. She was a 2010 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia. While completing her undergraduate degree, she worked with an international retailing company in Hilton Head, South Carolina. During her junior year, she volunteered as a teacher’s assistant and studied abroad with SCAD’s international program during the spring session in Provence, France.

After completing a BFA in Interior Design, Pia was challenged to work on a freelance retail project located in Hilton Head, South Carolina.  The job consisted of designing a clothing store, as well as merchandising displays for future products.  After concluding the project, she relocated to Arkansas and enrolled at the Academy of Art University, in San Francisco, to earn an MFA in Interior Architecture and Design.

Pia developed a passion for Interior Architecture as a result of her education, and areas of concentration in the design industry are on retail, hospitality, interior merchandise and high-end residential.  As her educational experience, has grown, she has also become strongly interested in issues related to healthcare and sustainability. Pia continues to work on several high-end residential projects in The Dominican Republic. This is in direct collaboration with Roberto Scarfullery, a Dominican Architect and Urban Planner. Additionally, served as an Adjunct Professor at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas; she taught Revit Architecture, Photoshop, InDesign, Space Planning, Implementation of Parti / Concept Development, Sustainability Principles and Interior Components course.

Currently working on multiple international projects as well as collaborating with local designers and architects in the State of Arkansas.
